AZ STARTUP EVENTS

Where do I start.

First, on the subject of events… why do they matter?  Entrepreneurship is about building and creating and running companies.  So, why so many events?

Because events are the easiest, most efficient way to meet buckets of awesome people.  And, the better we get at building relationships with said people the stronger the community we have.  The stronger the community we have the more mental strength we all have to survive this crazy ride called entrepreneurship + the faster we all go as we help each other.

So that is why.

Now, how to find them.

There are a few key places:

#1: STARTUP DIGEST

Our fine friends over at Coplex make sure to rope in and add to this calendar all the events they find so Startup Digest tends to have the most robust listing.  Plus, they have a newsletter so you can have the info delivered right to you!  Host events? Make sure to submit yours there.

#2:  TECHAZ.ORG + AZ TECH COUNCIL

If you want a one-stop shop for all news tech/startup in AZ TechAZ.org is a must-do.  And, they have an events calendar.  Similarly, the AZ Tech Council has a rockstar team and an events calendar that features events for tech companies of all sizes.

#3: AZCOMMERCE.COM

Who has awesome government partners? We do!  How cool is that.  They even have a great events calendar. <3 those guys.

#4:  SOCIAL MEDIA via #YESPHX

Follow the #yesphx pages on Facebook and Twitter + keep an eye on the hashtag.  Surest bet to finding the full scoop on what is happening.

#5: LISTEN TO THE SPACES + PLACES

CoWorking on 15th has a stellar newsletter that catches many events, and certainly checking out the websites of CO+HOOTS, SeedSpot, CEI, DeskHub, Gangplank, and BRIC will get you to their event calendars and newsletters, as well.

#6:  CONNECT WITH THE CHATTY ONES

There are a handful of especially “noisy” (in a good way!) folks in town, connecting with them on social media will also help your quest:

If you really want to be thorough, connect with everyone featured here.
